Key Responsibilities

• Perform overhaul and repair of drilling equipment
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical faults
• Execute testing in accordance with procedures
• Prepare and complete inspection and service reports
• Ensure proper documentation throughout the repair process
• Take ownership of repair projects from start to finish
• Contribute to a safe and positive working environment

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications:

• Relevant technical diploma (mechanics, hydraulics, or similar)
• Minimum 3 - 4 years of hands-on mechanical experience
• Ability to independently manage full repair cycles
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English (written and spoken)
• Solid Excel and general computer skills
• Ability to quickly learn new systems

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with drilling equipment
• Vocational certificate (fagbrev), preferably Level 3
• Forklift and overhead crane certificates (can be obtained after hire)
• Experience working with complex mechanical systems
