Job Description

About Us

Dyson is a global technology company with a unique philosophy—to solve problems that others ignore, first. It transforms every category it enters with radical and iconic re-inventions that work, perform, and look very different.

Our Service team forms a direct link between the business and Dyson owners. It helps ensure our owners have the best possible experience using our technology. Owner experience is everything to us. It helps strengthen our reputation and it drives advocacy. Our Service Centres and Experience Centres provide a touch point for our owners throughout their journey as a Dyson owner, delivering an exceptional experience through the repairs and service of machines.

Our Customer Service team exemplifies Dyson’s problem-solving ethos. There’s no query our team can’t answer and there’s no fault our Service technicians can’t fix. Our Repair Support Advisors obsess over the customer experience and strive every day to create an extraordinary experience that matches the quality of our products and reflects our innovative brand.

About the Role

Pioneering technology takes more than inventive engineers. At Dyson, we take a problem-solving approach to everything we do. As a Repair Support Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our repair ecosystem, acting as a key liaison between Dyson, retail partners, our authorised repair network, refurbishment operations, and internal teams.

This role drives operational excellence across three core pillars: providing a premium "white glove" support experience to retail partners for post-warranty enquiries, managing end-to-end administration and warehouse operations for our refurbished machine programme via Reebelo, and coordinating daily inventory, parts supply, and communications for our authorised repair network across Australia.

With strong organisational skills and a customer-first mindset, you will maintain strict service standards and stock accuracy while championing Dyson's reputation for outstanding after-sales service.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-

  • Deliver premium support to retail partners by managing repair bookings, status tracking, delivery follow-ups, and escalated enquiries
  • Process and track retail repair bookings across internal systems, maintaining strict record accuracy and service recovery standards
  • Collaborate with service centres, logistics teams, and customer service to resolve partner enquiries and reduce service friction
  • Manage refurbished product listings across marketplace platforms, ensuring accuracy of SKUs, pricing, specifications, and website content
  • Oversee order administration, customer returns, refunds, exchanges, and financial processing for refurbished sales
  • Work with refurbishment teams to forecast stock needs, manage inventory availability, and support sales performance
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for Australia's authorised repair network, assisting with onboarding, communications, and daily queries
  • Coordinate spare parts and accessory orders to maintain optimal stock levels across partner repair centres
  • Validate partner billing, oversee end-of-month invoicing, and generate inventory and service performance reports
  • Manage inventory accuracy across repair and refurbishment operations through regular stocktakes, cycle counts, and reconciliation
  • Coordinate warehouse tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, dispatching, and stock transfers between facilities
  • Monitor stock availability, escalate supply risks early, and enforce Dyson health, safety, and inventory standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you bring a keen interest in technology and the ability to articulate how our machines work differently. You are passionate about delivering an exceptional, memorable customer experience, and you bring a confident, friendly, and engaging approach to your work.

Previous skills & experience:-

  • Previous work experience within customer service and/or sales
  • Skilled in data entry with an understanding of Excel and CRM systems preferred
  • Previous experience handling EFTPOS and credit card facilities
  • Ability to push, pull and lift 12kgs

Benefits

Outside of a competitive salary, our team members receive generous product discounts, additional paid annual leave, a generous, above market parental leave scheme and ongoing learning and development opportunities.

At Dyson, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We value you bringing yourself to work and we want to deliver an employee experience that matches the quality we give to our customers.

We have a vibrant and diverse culture that is geared towards recognition and realising ambition. You'll have regular social activities to take part in and you'll work with a fantastic team of people every day.

About Dyson

Dyson solves real-world problems and creates better products through the application of engineering, science, design and creativity. It is a family-owned, global technology company, founded by Sir James Dyson who remains at the helm alongside his son Jake.

Since inventing the first cyclonic bagless vacuum cleaner, the DC01, Dyson has consistently invested in research and development to improve its products and technologies radically. Dyson offers products across a growing range of areas: floorcare, air purification, robotics, haircare including formulations, lighting, hand drying, and most recently audio. Dyson continues to expand into new areas.

Today, Dyson sells products in more than 80 markets, has 450 Dyson stores worldwide and is available in all major technology and beauty retailers. Dyson has global headquarters in Singapore and major technology campuses in Singapore, the UK, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Its global team of engineers, scientists and software developers are focused on developing technology-enabled products which work better and which people love to use. Key areas of focus have included high-speed electric digital motors, sensing and vision systems, robotics, machine learning and aerodynamics.

Beyond products, to encourage an inventive future, Dyson is also inspiring the next generation of engineers and inventors through the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology, the James Dyson Foundation and the James Dyson Award.

The Dyson family applies its problem-solving approach in other fields, and established Dyson Farming in 2012. It is one of the largest farming businesses in the UK, extending to 36,000 acres across Lincolnshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. It is a family-owned enterprise unlike any other, focussed on long-term investment in British farming and the countryside to grow tasty and nutritious food.
