Otis is growing and we are recruiting for a Repair Sales Consultant in Singapore. The Repair Sales Consultant is responsible for driving repair and modernization sales for elevators, escalators, and moving walkways. This role focuses on identifying opportunities within the installed base, building strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored repair solutions that enhance equipment reliability, safety, and performance.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify, develop, and close repair and modernization sales opportunities within assigned portfolio/accounts
Proactively manage Otis installed base to generate repair leads and upsell opportunities
Achieve sales targets for revenue, margin, and order bookings
Customer Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with building owners, property managers, and consultants
Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs and recommend solutions
Serve as the key point of contact for repair-related proposals and negotiations
Solution Proposal & Tendering
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for repair and upgrade works
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure feasibility and pricing accuracy
Participate in tenders, contract negotiations, and closing deals
Project Coordination
Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure smooth execution of sold projects
Monitor project progress and ensure customer satisfaction throughout delivery
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
Market & Portfolio Management
Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer requirements in Singapore
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline in CRM systems
Contribute to pricing strategy and sales initiatives
Requirements
Experience & Education
Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in: Elevator/escalator industry Building services, construction, or M&E sectors
Experience in B2B sales and account management preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong sales acumen with proven track record in achieving targets
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Good understanding of technical products (training provided if needed)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
Other Requirements
Familiarity with Singapore building industry and regulations is an advantage
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
