We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to support our disaster restoration operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing company vehicles and truck-mounted carpet cleaning systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain company vehicles (vans, trucks, and light-duty fleet)
Service and repair truck-mounted carpet cleaning and restoration equipment
Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Maintain maintenance records and ensure equipment meets safety standards
Coordinate repairs to minimize vehicle downtime
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a mechanic working on vehicles and equipment
Hands-on experience with truck mounts or similar powered cleaning/restoration systems required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple repairs
Valid driver’s license (commercial license a plus)
Preferred Experience:
Restoration, carpet cleaning, or pressure washing equipment
Small engines, PTO-driven systems, or auxiliary motors
Fleet maintenance experience
