Job Description

Capital SMART is Australia and New Zealand's leading accident repair network, with 60+ sites and a reputation for setting the benchmark in collision repair. We're looking for an experienced Repair Centre Manager to lead one of our sites on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As Repair Centre Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of your site — from production and quality through to people, safety, and customer outcomes. You'll lead a full team across panel, paint, assembly, and detail, working closely with insurance partners and customer service teams to keep the business running profitably and efficiently.

What you'll be doing:

  • Owning full P&L responsibility for your repair centre, including budgets, costs, and revenue targets
  • Driving production efficiency and turnaround times across the entire repair process
  • Leading, developing, and managing a multi-disciplinary team of tradespeople and support staff
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance partners and key stakeholders
  • Ensuring repair quality and customer experience meet Capital SMART's standards at every stage
  • Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS requirements
  • Managing recruitment, performance, and development of your team
  • Monitoring KPIs and reporting on site performance to senior leadership
  • Identifying opportunities to improve process, efficiency, and profitability

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Repair Centre Manager, Site Manager, or Production Manager within smash repair
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and P&L
  • A solid understanding of the end-to-end collision repair process
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams
  • Experience managing insurance partner relationships highly regarded
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with repair management systems (e.g. Autoflow, Estimage) an advantage
  • Full working rights in Australia
