Job Description
The R&M Supervisor leads workshop maintenance and repair activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution in line with company and Weatherford standards. The role requires strong technical capability in oilfield equipment maintenance, including MPD systems and pressure control equipment, combined with leadership and operational coordination skills.
SAFETY LEADERSHIP
- Champion and promote a strong safety culture across the workshop.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
- Lead incident prevention initiatives and ensure proper reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance work meets established quality standards and specifications.
- Drive adherence to inspection, testing, and certification requirements.
- Promote a “right-first-time” mindset and continuous improvement in quality performance.
- Investigate non-conformance issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Plan and coordinate workshop activities to meet operational and project demands.

- Optimize manpower utilization and resource allocation to improve efficiency.
- Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.

STAKE HOLDER COORDINATION

- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in workshop supervision or oil & gas equipment maintenance.
SKILLS & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
- Experience in MPD equipment maintenance (RCD, choke manifold, pressure control systems)
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of QHSE standards in oil & gas operations.
- Familiar with Lean tools, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
- Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, PowerApps, and JDE or similar systems.
