About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join TransUnion as a Data Amendment Agent to play a key role in supporting our Consumer Data Amendments Team to provide accurate data amendments to data relating to consumers across the United Kingdom.

We will provide full training to all new starters and support you throughout. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

As a Data Support Analyst, you will play a key role in resolving consumer disputes by analysing and processing data correction requests within our core database systems. Working closely with the Consumer Disputes Team, you will utilise SQL and data analysis skills to investigate issues, make accurate data updates, and ensure requests are completed within agreed service levels. You'll contribute to maintaining data integrity while delivering a high standard of customer-focused support in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and processing data correction requests received from consumer-facing teams.
  • Investigating and resolving consumer dispute-related data issues.
  • Executing SQL queries and making data updates within core database systems.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance through quality control checks.
  • Managing workload effectively to meet service level agreements.
  • Contributing positively to team goals, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

We're looking for a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for data accuracy and a proactive approach to delivering results.

Essential requirements:

  • Strong data literacy and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to use initiative and solve problems effectively.
  • Experience working in a results-driven operational environment.
  • Matric

Nice to have:

  • Experience writing and executing basic SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Previous experience working with consumer data.
  • Experience within the credit, financial services, or related industries.
