Are you our new REO Asset Manager?

The REO Asset Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of repossessed real estate assets, with primary ownership of maturing the assigned assets, making them ready for sale, marketing and successfully selling each property. The role focuses on maximizing asset value and ensuring an efficient and timely sale.
The REO Asset Manager acts as the central point of coordination between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring that all asset management and brokerage activities are effectively monitored and executed.

What will you do:

Responsibility for the sale of the asset ( core responsibility):

  • Cooperate with the REO Transactions Unit to define the sales strategy and recommend pricing in line with internal guidelines
  • Coordinate and manage brokers/agents
  • Liaise with Sales unit to monitor buyer interest and facilitate negotiations in direct sales
  • Drive each asset through to a successful closing

Full lifecycle ownership:

  • Manage repossessed properties from onboarding through final sale, in close collaboration with the external vendors
  • Maintain a close oversight of the external vendors assigned for the asset maturity
  • Coordinate legal, technical and operational activities to ensure each asset is market
  • Oversee legal due diligence, removal of liens/encumbrances and resolution of legal issues
  • Coordinate technical assessments, certifications and actions required to improve marketability and value

Operational and cost management:

  • Ensure proper maintenance and operational readiness of the asset until sale
  • Monitor timelines, KPIs and overall asset-related costs

Transaction & closing:

  • Coordinate the transaction process with buyers, notaries and advisors
  • Ensure smooth and timely completion of the sale

What we are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of real estate markets, property characteristics and related legal/regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to manage multiple assets simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets and successful sale outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal teams, vendors, brokers and buyers
  • Proficiency in property/asset management systems (e.g., Property Base) and Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail in documentation, due diligence and reporting
  • Strong stakeholder management and teamwork skills
  • Solid understanding of risk assessment and mitigation in real estate asset management
