If so, we invite you to become an Admin/ Rental Project Coordinator (RPC) at our Modesto branch. This is a hybrid role (RPC/ADMIN) that is responsible for scheduling and coordinating deliveries of 8-10 wide mobile offices and storage containers. The position also provides administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day branch operations.

Pay rate: $24 - $26 an hour DOE
Essential Functions:
• Be trained on Pacific Mobile’s rental lifecycle processes, including on-rent, off-rent, PO management, and budget tracking.
• Partner with Sales and Accounting to move projects forward smoothly and on time.
• Coordinate building deliveries, returns, and relocations in alignment with customer schedules and compliance requirements.
• Begin mastering our internal systems, including job costing, Rental Project tracking, vendor billing, and lease documentation.
• Track and support budget compliance for each Rental Project, working closely with leadership to flag overages or inefficiencies.
• Maintain detailed records in company databases for all subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce delays and ensure compliance with KPIs.
• Build strong, reliable vendor relationships to support timely deliveries, dismantles, and relocations.
• Participate in performance reviews and process audits to continuously improve service quality and efficiency.
• Work closely with our Construction Services Project Management team, learning the fundamentals of construction project management.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma; equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years in a project coordination, dispatcher, or operational support role, preferably in construction, equipment rental, or logistics.
• Familiarity with union labor, prevailing wage, or public works documentation is a must.
• Confidence in reading budgets, cost codes, and purchase orders.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
• Advanced organization and multitasking skills; able to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of administrative processes related to project coordination, invoicing, and order management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; clear, concise, and professional across teams and with customers.
• Proven ability to learn quickly, retain information, and work independently under deadlines.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
• May occasionally perform light lifting of supplies, deliveries and materials.
• Spend hours sitting/standing and using office equipment and computers
