Job Location: Roanoke, VA 24018American HealthCare, LLC (Heritage Hall Nursing Homes) is a leader in the long-term care industry with seven skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across Virginia. The Construction Manager leads a team of craftsmen across our Virginia facilities, directly improving residents' quality of life by ensuring renovation projects are completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and with their comfort and safety always in mind. This position requires extensive travel throughout Virginia, typically 4 days and 3 nights away from home about 80% of the time. This isn't a desk role. You will be working with your crew and taking ownership of planning, scheduling, and supervising work across multiple locations.
Construction Manager

Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- 2-5+ years of hands-on experience in cabinetry, carpentry, floor installations, and general building renovations
- Experience working in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care facilities preferred
- Must be comfortable with extensive travel throughout Virginia (typically 4 days/3 nights away, about 80% of the time)
- Working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing
- Proven supervisory experience managing a crew
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Familiarity with life safety codes and healthcare facility regulations (NFPA 101, CMS)
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple active projects across several locations
