  • Assist in renewal business strategic pricing execution, promptly and effectively.
  • Assist in providing leadership to ensure proposed pricing aligns with the agreed policies & guidelines and within serve level agreement.
  • Provide guidance to staffs in “solution-driven” approach to meet customer need, both technical & intuition for business.
  • Assist in providing guidance to team in in-depth analysis, consultative insight & solution for client.
  • Constantly look out for opportunities to improve pricing capability within the team, i.e. pricing methodology review, pricing and underwriting skill, computing skill, intuition for business, data analysis, system knowledge etc.
  • Develop, maintain and update pricing model; ensure aligns with the agreed rules, policies, guidelines and within service level agreement.
  • Provide in-depth trend analysis, benchmark and insight to client, make professional recommendationand articulate in presentable way.
  • SLA / TAT reportsin timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Analytics Team to determine right Cost and Utilization Report modelling that is capable to produce accurate and useful analysis for clients.
  • Work closely with the Medical Team to institutionalize the methodology in preparing trend analysis, benchmark, and insight that factors in cost containment.
  • Assist in team’s capability development, both technical and soft skills.
  • Plan and manage team resources appropriately by effectively using the individual strengths and work styles.
  • Contribute in Projects and/or initiatives as Subject Matter Experts.
  • What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor degree in Actuarial, Finance or equivalent with minimum 6 years of related working experience in the Insurance industry.
  • Experience in Health Actuarial, Group Business Underwriting, Medical Pricing and/or Employee Benefits.
  • Experience in pricing modelling, i.e. development and application.
  • Strong eye for business and commercial awareness, able to see things from customer’s perspective.
  • Proficiency in statistical, computing skill and formulating analytical methodology, e.g. MS Excel, SQL.
  • Strong analytical skill and able to translate insight into decision.
  • Ability to work in environment with constantly evolving priorities and adaptable to change.
  • “Can-Do” personality, creative and innovative in problem solving.
  • Excellent in prioritization, execution and multi-tasking with strong sense of urgency and commitment to meet performance targets.
  • Hard-working, disciplined and proactive in developing personal and technical skill.
