Job Description

TITAN Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Renewables Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of wind, solar, and battery energy storagesystem (BESS) projects across Greece and South-East Europe.

The role involves navigating the regulatory landscape related to project execution and managing key workstreams during the final stages of project development, including design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and operation.

The position is based at TITAN’s Headquarters in Athens, Greece, and reports directly to the Group Power Director.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for this role include:

  • Managing or overseeing project development and execution tasks to ensure they are delivered within the agreed-upon timeline, scope, and budget, including construction interfaces and running procurement tenders for OEM and EPC contracts.
  • Coordinating permitting and licensing activities ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Managing project budgets, including cost-optimization.
  • Overseeing multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, legal advisors, and environmental consultants, and ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact and maintaining strong relationships with all external stakeholders, including public authorities (e.g., RAE, IPTO, HEDNO), local communities and other consultants.
  • Managing project risks, including potential delays, budget overruns, and safety hazards, and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Managing the process for grid connection, including managing applications for Final Connection Offers and Grid Connection Agreements with IPTO or HEDNO.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in project management and development / licensing within the renewable energy sector.
  • Proficiency and in-depth knowledge of the relevant Greek legislation and the regulatory framework for renewable energy projects, particularly wind, solar and battery storage systems.
  • Strong knowledge of the Greek licensing and permitting processes and grid connection processes and regulations.
  • Ability to manage and develop projects in countries of the southeastern Europe in addition to Greece.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English is a must.
  • Military obligations completed (where applicable).
