I. Job Summary
Manage the Landfill Gas to Electric Power Plant takes on existing plant manager roles including maximizing production, recognizing unsafe work practices, environmental compliance risk avoidance, advanced maintenance and troubleshooting, compliance with contracts, developing new work processes or tooling, and coordination with the landfill management and operations. This role acts as an advanced single source "go to" plant owner and is available whenever necessary to meet the objectives of the role and the needs of the facility. An Electric Facility takes landfill gas and converts it to a electricity that is distributed into the local electric grid for household and commercial use. The Electric Plant Manager will be required to operate and maintain equipment such as, specialty gas processing equipment, gas compressors, engine or turbine equipment, gas monitoring equipment, job specific specialty equipment and have an advanced/confident understanding of the overall system (gas inlet to electric export). This position is limited and employees should only be considered with the highest repetitive annual performance reviews and recommended by Supervisors.
