Wood is recruiting for a Renewable Energy Consultant to join our Clean Energy Consulting team based in Glasgow, UK. We are currently working on global projects from across the renewables sector including onshore and offshore Wind, Solar PV, Battery and Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and hybrid.
Our Renewable Energy Consultants (RECs) play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of technical due diligence assignments, supporting the assessment and financing of renewable energy projects on behalf of our clients. Working under the guidance of Project Managers and Team Leaders, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects across a range of renewable technologies.
Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will undertake technical assessments, analyse project risks and opportunities, and help produce high-quality, detailed technical reports that provide clients with the insight needed to make informed investment decisions.
The breadth and variety of work across our Clean Energy Consulting business will give you exposure to a wide range of renewable energy and energy transition projects, providing an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience, develop new technical capabilities, and build expertise within a rapidly evolving sector. As part of a growing team at the forefront of the energy transition, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact while accelerating your own professional development.
Our clients are world class banks, investors, and developers who are committed to financing and developing renewable energy projects worldwide. Our work takes the form of bank financing for development stage projects, or it could be advising buy, or sell-side clients looking to invest or divest from renewables projects, at any stage in the project lifecycle. We advise clients as they navigate through transactions, which are making the energy transition possible.
