Job Title: Rendering Utility

Location: Green Bay

Reporting to: Rendering Supervisor

Hours: 10pm- 6:30am

Rate of Pay: $22.90

Essential Job Functions:

• Follow all plant safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain constant awareness of potential hazards while performing daily tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the Rendering department.
• Perform frequent shoveling and manual handling of materials to support daily operations and maintain clean work areas.
• Safely operate forklifts, Bobcats, and other authorized equipment to move materials, remove waste, and support production activities.
• Assist different areas of the Rendering department as needed to support production requirements and maintain operational continuity.
• Provide break coverage for operators and other team members in assigned areas after receiving the required training.
• Promptly clean up material spills, grease, and other residues to prevent slip hazards, maintain sanitation, and keep work areas safe.
• Properly collect, handle, and dispose of waste and debris according to plant procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

• Experience with Power industrial equipment preferred
• Waste Management experience is a plus
• Mechanically inclined preferred

Skills/Abilities Required:

• Ability to perform frequent shoveling, lifting, pushing, pulling, and material handling.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods.
• Ability to work in an industrial rendering environment with exposure to heat, odors, grease, noise, and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work around heavy equipment and follow established safety procedures at all times.
