The Rendering Operator is responsible for collecting production plant waste materials (animal carcass remains and non-consumables) for byproduct recycling. This process prepares the byproducts for conversion into usable goods such as bone meal and alternative fuel. This position is not directly part of the harvest or cut process and does not require use of knives. You do have to be able to work in hot/cold weather environment.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: The hours and days of work are established as needed by Rendering team and at the discretion of management and, while generally as shown below, may be changed (increased or decreased) by management as required. You will work 4 days and have 3 days off; your shift will rotate every 4 months.
HOURS OF WORK: 5:00pm - 5:30am you will work 4 - 12-hour days and have 3 days off. The typical week would entail 40 to 60 hours (maximum), with fluctuations based on need of the Rendering team.
