Reclatam is hiring on behalf of our client for a Paralegal with experience in removal defense to support an immigration law practice. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling cases before EOIR, including defensive asylum matters.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with removal defense cases before EOIR
Prepare and file applications, including defensive asylum (Form I-589)
Draft legal documents, motions, and supporting materials
Manage case files, deadlines, and court calendars
Communicate with clients to gather information and documentation
Ensure compliance with immigration procedures and requirements
Requirements
Proven experience as a paralegal in immigration law, specifically removal defense
Strong knowledge of EOIR processes and procedures
Experience handling defensive asylum cases
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience working with U.S.-based immigration law firms
