They partner with clients during critical business moments such as capital raising, fund launches, market expansion, and investor communications, helping them build clear, credible, and compelling narratives.
Operating at the intersection of strategy, capital markets, communications, and execution, the firm combines high-level advisory with hands-on delivery to drive measurable impact.
Our client is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Financial Communications to lead client relationships and deliver high-impact advisory work.
This role blends strategic counsel, narrative development, and program leadership, supporting clients across investor communications, capital markets strategy, thought leadership, and digital positioning.
The ideal candidate is a senior-level advisor with strong financial industry experience, capable of translating complex ideas into clear messaging while leading client engagements and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted, day-to-day strategic partner to clients
Lead client calls, planning sessions, and executive presentations
Translate business objectives into actionable communications strategies
Manage timelines, deliverables, and overall client engagement quality
Develop messaging frameworks and positioning for financial institutions
Advise on fund launches, capital raising, and market expansion initiatives
Build communication strategies for investor and stakeholder audiences
Craft narratives around growth, transformation, and strategic positioning
Support investor communication programs and reporting frameworks
Develop investor letters, presentations, and communication materials
Build messaging for investor days, annual meetings, and fundraising efforts
Lead editorial and content strategy initiatives
Develop research-driven insights and market commentary
Guide multi-channel content efforts (newsletters, social media, webinars, podcasts, video)
Advise on website strategy and digital positioning
Build integrated marketing and communications programs
Ensure alignment between digital presence and institutional credibility
Contribute to refining internal offerings, frameworks, and playbooks
Mentor junior team members and support hiring and training
Support business development efforts, including proposals and client pitches
Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:
6–12+ years of experience in:
Strategic communications
Financial PR
Investor relations
Capital markets communications
Experience working with financial institutions (agency or in-house)
Strong understanding of:
Private equity
Venture capital
Real estate
Hedge funds
Asset management
Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills
Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives
Strong executive presence and client-facing confidence
Strategic thinking and sound judgment
High attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally
Composure and effectiveness in high-pressure environments
