Polished Talent Group is seeking motivated individuals to join our network as Remote Tax Preparers for the upcoming tax season.
This is a remote, commission-based independent contractor opportunity. Prior tax preparation experience is welcome but not required. Training, professional tax preparation software, resources, and ongoing support are provided to help qualified candidates prepare individual income tax returns accurately and professionally.
Remote Tax Preparers assist individual clients with preparing and filing federal and state income tax returns using professional tax preparation software.
This seasonal opportunity offers a remote work environment and schedule flexibility while requiring preparers to maintain professional standards, meet client needs, and comply with applicable tax preparation requirements.
- Prepare individual federal and state income tax returns
- Collect and review client-provided tax documents
- Enter tax information accurately into professional tax preparation software
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding required documentation
- Review returns for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain confidentiality of taxpayer and financial information
- Follow applicable IRS requirements and due diligence standards
- Maintain accurate client documentation and records
- Provide professional and responsive client service
- Complete required tax preparation training and updates
- Prior tax preparation experience is welcome but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service experience is helpful
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Basic computer proficiency

- Willingness to learn tax preparation procedures and compliance requirements
Selected candidates will receive access to:

Candidates who are new to tax preparation must successfully complete required training before preparing client tax returns.
Candidates must have:

- Ability to meet applicable IRS requirements for paid tax return preparers
Paid tax return preparers are required to obtain and maintain a valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Candidates are responsible for obtaining and maintaining their PTIN as required by the IRS.
This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity. Compensation is based on completed tax preparation services. Specific compensation details and payment procedures will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview and onboarding process.
This is a seasonal remote opportunity. Independent contractors have flexibility in managing their schedules while meeting client service expectations, tax filing deadlines, and applicable business requirements.
