The Role Our Client is seeking a Senior Paid Advertising Strategist to lead performance marketing strategy and execution across complex, high-value accounts. This is a senior leadership role within the department, requiring an expert who can navigate challenging client conversations with confidence and translate technical data into broader business goals. The successful candidate will not only be a master of hands-on media buying but also a strategic consultant who manages testing roadmaps, mentors junior talent, and utilizes advanced AI workflows to enhance business efficiency.Strategic Leadership & Media Buying
Leads the performance marketing strategy and execution for marquee accounts, ensuring all deliverables align with the client’s high-level business goals.
Demonstrates expert-level proficiency in at least two major ad channels (e.g., Google/Bing, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or YouTube).
Leads proactive conversations regarding media buying, performance opportunities, and complex optimization plans.
Conducts rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) to prevent errors and ensure accurate budget pacing across all managed accounts.
Data Analysis & Measurement
Analyzes campaign data and client-specific "sources of truth" to develop actionable insights that go beyond basic statistics to tell a strategic story.
Applies advanced technical knowledge in attribution, incrementality, contribution analysis, and measurement frameworks.
Maintains and executes consistent client testing roadmaps and manages the project lifecycle of strategic next steps.
Collaboration & Mentorship
Serves as a key strategic leader within the department, influencing decision-making and account direction.
Supports the growth of junior talent through coaching, knowledge-sharing, and active participation in team ceremonies (scrums, 1:1s).
Leverages AI technologies and proprietary ecosystem tools to enhance workflows and operational outputs.
Experience: 4–5 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3+ years specifically in an agency setting.
Technical Mastery: 3–4 years of hands-on experience in 2+ paid channels (Google/Bing, Meta, TikTok, etc.), including expertise in bid optimization, keyword research, and ad copy development.
Analytics: Proficient in Google Analytics and expert knowledge of funnel marketing and paid media's role within the marketing funnel.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills; highly confident in client-facing presentations and high-stakes communication.
Strategic Acumen: Strong ability to formulate meaningful insights from data and a deep understanding of business strategy.
Traits: Self-motivated, highly dependable, and an independent worker capable of managing complex timelines in a remote environment.
