Location: Remote

Position Overview

Booker DiMaio is building a technical support team for a newly awarded Internal Revenue Service contract supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365. We are seeking a Senior Oracle / Informatica Data Warehouse Engineer to provide senior technical expertise supporting data warehouse development, integration, and performance. The role will support Oracle development strategies and data warehouse activities involving Oracle, Informatica, and multiple enterprise data sources. The SME will help design, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain data structures and ETL workflows and work with the broader technical team on data integration and reporting needs.

Security / Eligibility Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status with at least three consecutive years of U.S. residency from the date of legal entry as an LPR.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain IRS staff-like access and successfully complete the required Moderate Risk background investigation and security screening process.
  • Background investigation and onboarding requirements will be initiated following selection.
  • Must successfully complete applicable IRS personnel-security requirements, including fingerprinting, security training, and related screening requirements.
  • IRS staff-like access is subject to applicable IRS eligibility and suitability requirements and must be maintained for the duration of the engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated professional experience supporting U.S. Federal Government programs or federal government customers.
  • Strong hands-on Oracle database development experience.
  • Strong PL/SQL development experience.
  • Experience with data warehouse architecture and development.
  • Experience with Informatica and ETL processes.
  • Experience with database performance, data integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to operate as a senior technical SME within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior subject matter expertise for Oracle data warehouse development and related technical strategies.
  • Develop and support Oracle database objects, including PL/SQL, data views, triggers, and functions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot database performance and optimize database solutions.
  • Support Informatica ETL workflows and data integration activities.
  • Work with data originating from systems such as PPS/SAP, SharePoint, Power Platform, FPDS, SAM.gov, USAspending, and other sources as required.
  • Support data ingestion, transformation, integration, and availability for downstream reporting and analytics.
  • Collaborate with Power BI, Power Platform, SharePoint, and project management team members to support integrated solutions.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting, recommendations, and documentation.
