Job Title: Remote Procurement Assistant (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary $1,300 - $1,400 USD/month via bank transfer or Veem

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m to 5:00p.m Eastern Time

The Role


Our Client is seeking a Procurement Assistant to serve as a vital link between purchasing, logistics, and inventory management. This individual will be responsible for executing day-to-day purchasing operations based on inventory needs and sales projections. Beyond administrative tasks, the successful candidate will analyze current buying systems to suggest improvements, coordinate closely with warehouse personnel, and ensure that flooring materials are tracked and delivered with "quick yet thorough" precision.
Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Order Management

  • Creates purchase orders within the JobRunner system and manages transmissions to manufacturers and distributors.

  • Conducts meticulous reviews of order confirmations to verify material accuracy and pricing, escalating discrepancies immediately.

  • Updates and maintains real-time order statuses, confirmation numbers, and shipping logs in the internal system.

  • Proactively follows up with suppliers to ensure materials are scheduled and shipped according to project timelines.

Logistics & Interdepartmental Coordination

  • Tracks all orders and shipments, evaluating shipping options to ensure the most efficient transport from suppliers.

  • Maintains constant communication with warehouse personnel regarding logistics and delivery schedules.

  • Delegates necessary communication and tasks across Administration, Accounting, and Project Management departments to maintain operational consistency.

Inventory Control

  • Assigns Product ID numbers (PID) to stock materials and tracks quantities to trigger reorders when thresholds are met.

  • Facilitates material returns within JobRunner and collaborates with the warehouse team to ensure inventory counts remain 100% accurate.

  • Continually seeks opportunities to exceed expectations through friendly and thorough service to all internal and external stakeholders.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities to manage supplier relationships.

  • Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge and the ability to quickly master industry-specific software (experience with JobRunner or similar ERPs is a plus).

  • Problem Solving: Effective problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
