Job Title: Remote Operations & Supply Chain Manager (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,600 – $2,080 USD/month ($10.00 – $13.00 USD/hour based on 40 hours/week)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00/9:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM US Eastern Time / ET.

Our Client

Our Client is an innovative, high-growth Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) food enterprise specializing in better-for-you, high-fiber products—including patented resistant-starch pasta imported from Italy, specialty crackers, baking flours, mac & cheese, and riced grains. Serving major nationwide retail channels and direct-to-consumer platforms, our client operates with a lean, fast-paced execution model that prioritizes product quality, supply chain integrity, rigorous cost control, and proactive vendor management.

Job Overview

Our Client is seeking a hands-on, highly autonomous Operations & Supply Chain Manager to own the day-to-day operational engine of the business. Functioning as a high-accountability individual contributor, this professional will build and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), oversee inventory levels and purchase order (PO) cycles, manage co-packer production schedules, model landed costs for new retail accounts, and proactively monitor major distributor relationships (KeHE, UNFI) to prevent stockouts and write-offs.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Architecture & SOP Management

  • Builds, documents, and maintains core operational SOPs, implementing checklists, trackers, and accountability cadences across all supply chain workflows.
  • Serves as the central operational driver, ensuring cross-functional tasks are executed on time and without requiring daily executive oversight.

Inventory Control, PO Cycles & Forecasting

  • Manages reorder points, lead times, and purchase order cycles to maintain optimal stock levels without overbuying or experiencing stockouts.
  • Develops, updates, and refines demand and inventory forecasts, incorporating retail seasonality, sales velocity, and new account launches.

Vendor, Co-Packer & Distributor Operations (KeHE / UNFI)

  • Oversees day-to-day supplier and co-packer relationships, resolving overages, ingredient discrepancies, billing refunds, and packaging production timelines.
  • Monitors distributor account health (KeHE, UNFI), proactively identifying slow-moving SKUs or short-dated inventory to prevent product write-offs.
  • Drives operational issues to complete resolution independently, escalating critical bottlenecks to executive leadership when necessary.

Retail Onboarding & Financial Modeling

  • Conducts financial modeling for new retail account onboardings, calculating landed costs, gross margins, and logistics requirements.
  • Ensures production runs and co-packer deliverables remain on schedule to satisfy retailer fulfillment windows.

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies

Required Qualifications

  • CPG & Food Industry Experience: Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations within the CPG or food sector, featuring a strong understanding of co-packers, ingredient sourcing, and retail distribution dynamics.
  • SOP & Systems Creation: Demonstrated ability to author operational SOPs, build tracking frameworks, and implement accountability systems from scratch.
  • Forecasting & Inventory Mastery: Hands-on experience creating and maintaining demand forecasting models, reorder point calculators, and inventory trackers.
  • Margin & Landed Cost Analysis: Comfortable working with unit economics, landed cost calculations, and gross margin analysis.
  • Exceptional English Communication: Native or near-native written and spoken English fluency to communicate clearly and assertively with suppliers, distributors, and executive leadership.
  • Schedule Alignment: Full availability to work standard US Eastern business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00/9:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM ET).
  • Remote Infrastructure: Dedicated, quiet home office, high-performance computer setup, and a stable, high-speed internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)

  • Direct prior experience managing major national CPG distributor accounts (e.g., KeHE, UNFI) or handling major retail account onboarding logistics.
  • Familiarity with inventory data/BI tools, cloud ERP platforms, or specialized supply chain management software.
  • Prior experience working directly alongside founders or small executive leadership teams in high-growth CPG environments.

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Hourly rate translating to $1,600 – $2,080 USD/month based on experience.
  • High Ownership & Impact: Direct oversight over company-wide supply chain processes with zero micromanagement.
  • Direct Executive Access: Work side-by-side with company leadership to drive brand expansion across major retail networks.
  • 100% Remote Infrastructure: Manage global CPG supply chain operations remotely from anywhere in Latin America.
