The RoleKey Responsibilities
Oversees and audits all short-form content prior to client delivery, enforcing strict standards across story structure, hook strength, visual pacing, platform optimization, audio quality, and spelling accuracy.
Serves as the ultimate quality gatekeeper, ensuring zero defective or off-brand assets reach client review platforms.
Deeply studies each creator’s unique brand identity, tone, and audience goals to ensure editing styles remain continuously aligned.
Reviews raw long-form podcasts, YouTube videos, and live streams to identify, timestamp, and curate high-potential viral moments for the editing team.
Analyzes video engagement metrics across clients to spot performance patterns, test new hook structures, and refine short-form growth playbooks.
Experiments with fresh editing styles, graphic overlays, and platform-specific trends to keep content ahead of algorithm shifts.
Directs the daily flow of content production, ensuring rapid review turnarounds, constructive feedback loops, and unblocked editor workflows.
Utilizes Adobe Premiere Pro to troubleshoot technical timeline issues, guide complex edits, or adjust cuts independently when necessary.
Coordinates cross-functional workflows using collaborative tooling (Discord, ClickUp, Google Drive, Slack) to guarantee on-time delivery schedules.
Short-Form Production Track Record: 2–3+ years of experience in video content production, with a heavy specialization in short-form video formats (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro Mastery: High technical proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and short-form editing mechanics (pacing, hook engineering, dynamic captions, visual effects).
Editorial & Pattern Recognition Skills: Exceptional eye for viral storytelling and clip curation, capable of extracting top moments from long-form media.
Fluent English & High Detail Orientation: Advanced written and verbal English skills with an obsessive attention to detail to catch subtle spelling errors, audio glitches, and pacing flaws.
Schedule Alignment: Availability during core US Eastern hours (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST availability window, targeting a 6:00 PM EST wrap time) to manage daily content flows.
Remote Workspace Setup: Dedicated quiet home office, high-performance computing hardware (capable of fluid Premiere Pro rendering), professional headset, and high-speed internet.
Previous experience managing or leading video editors and creative production workflows at a marketing agency or creator network.
Proficiency using modern project management and communication stack: Discord, ClickUp, Slack, and Google Workspace.
