Job Description

Behind every well-planned vacation is someone who has checked the details, compared the options, and made sure the itinerary makes sense. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy researching destinations and organizing information into practical vacation plans.

As a Remote Itinerary Specialist, you will research accommodations, cruises, transportation, activities, and destination logistics. Your findings will be used to develop personalized recommendations based on each client's dates, budget, interests, and priorities.

This role requires more than locating attractive hotels or popular attractions. You must consider location, travel time, operating schedules, reservation requirements, cancellation policies, and how each part of the vacation fits together.

What You Will Do

  • Review client profiles and identify the information needed for each request.
  • Research domestic and international destinations.
  • Compare hotels, resorts, cruises, room categories, and vacation packages.
  • Investigate transportation between airports, hotels, ports, and attractions.
  • Locate tours, excursions, restaurants, and activities that match client interests.
  • Organize research into clear recommendations and itinerary outlines.
  • Create realistic daily schedules that account for travel time and operating hours.
  • Review supplier information, package inclusions, and reservation policies.
  • Verify names, dates, prices, and booking details for accuracy.
  • Track payment deadlines, documentation needs, and scheduled activities.
  • Prepare professional client communications and itinerary materials.
  • Maintain organized and confidential client records.
  • Monitor destination updates, travel advisories, and supplier promotions.
  • Complete training and participate in continued destination education.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must reside in the United States or Mexico.
  • Strong research, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable using search engines, spreadsheets, email, and online platforms.
  • Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
  • Willingness to complete training and continuing education.
  • Experience in research, administration, logistics, hospitality, or customer service is helpful but not required.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote and flexible scheduling.
  • Training in destination research, itinerary design, and supplier systems.
  • Access to professional planning resources.
  • Ongoing education and support.
  • Opportunities to develop expertise in specific destinations or vacation types.
