Job Title: Remote Financial Analyst (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary $2,000 USD/month (Depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Eastern Time (EST)

Our Client is one of the largest and most impactful co-investment platforms in the world, dedicated to delivering consistently above-market returns while actively increasing visibility, representation, and capital access for underrepresented communities in the venture capital ecosystem. Operating with a powerful mission to drive top-tier financial returns and foster diversity, they co-invest alongside premier venture capital leads in companies committed to building inclusive teams. They rely on high-performing financial professionals who possess sharp analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to support their global portfolio operations.

The Role

Our Client is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and structured Financial Analyst to support their core financial ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this professional will execute high-level accounting functions, rigorous financial closing procedures, and complex data tracking across the General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Cash Management segments. Rather than a standard data-entry clerk, this professional functions as a vital anchor for the finance team—adept at managing multi-fund complexity, maintaining flawless digital ledger integrity, and tracking venture capital cash flows with absolute accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger (GL) & Month-End Closing Orchestration

  • Executes comprehensive month-end closing procedures across multiple diverse corporate entities, including Management, Inc, Venture, Holdings, and UK branches.

  • Achieves complete bank reconciliations within Sage accounting software, ensuring all records mirror physical bank positioning flawlessly.

  • Manages structural revenue recognition operations, monitors SPV fee workflows, calculates management fees for active funds, and maintains the centralized Closing Tracker.

Advanced Accounts Payable (AP) & Corporate Expense Tracking

  • Supervises the daily AP Tracker, executing end-to-end invoice preparation, securing necessary W-9 documentation, and managing professional communications with external vendors.

  • Conducts thorough weekly and monthly credit card audits across Divvy and Amex accounts, categorizing expenses accurately and spearheading monthly receipt collections.

  • Harnesses specialized cloud expense software (such as Cledara) to manage receipts, downloading and reconciling data streams to keep financial tracking reports perfectly accurate.

Strategic Cash Management & Venture Reporting

  • Updates and monitors interim cash position tracking across premier banking platforms (including SVB, JPMorgan Chase), ensuring daily visibility into liquid corporate assets.

  • Prepares critical financial outputs, including the Weekly TTF account updates, Weekly/Monthly Cash Out reports, and specialized Venture Investment Reports.

  • Tracks, calculates, and records interest earned from specialized sweep accounts and monitors complex investment returns and equity distributions.

Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies

Required Qualifications

  • Background: Solid foundational background in finance, mathematics, business administration, science, engineering, or a highly quantitative related field.

  • Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on professional experience in an accounting, corporate finance, or financial analysis workspace is highly preferred.

  • Technical Mastery: Advanced, elite proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with an instinct for building and navigating complex financial tracking templates.

  • Organizational Instincts: Exceptional attention to detail, strong self-direction, and a natural propensity to take initiative within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

  • Language: Elite written and verbal English communication skills, backed by strong interpersonal instincts for vendor and executive interaction.

  • Infrastructure: A secure personal computer meeting standard digital security baselines, supported by a highly reliable, high-speed secure internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working within venture capital, private equity, or multi-fund investment accounting environments.

  • Hands-on proficiency utilizing Sage accounting software or modern automated spend management tools like Divvy and Cledara.

Benefits

  • Contract Classification: Full-time Independent Consultant engagement with a stable, predictable monthly billable rate paid via Bank Wire or ACH (available in USD or local currency).

  • Paid Time Off: 15 days of annual paid vacation (Jan 1 to Dec 31), following an initial 3-month onboarding period (first-year allocation prorated based on start date).

  • Impactful Mission: Work within a globally recognized venture platform dedicated to scaling top-tier companies while championing diversity and inclusion in global finance.

  • 100% Remote Infrastructure: Predictable, full-time hours executed alongside an elite US-based investment and finance team.
