This assignment posting is for an Agency Worker opportunity with People Inc. The Agency Worker is paid by a staffing agency employer. Agency Workers will receive a W2 from the staffing agency reporting their earnings for tax purposes.Remote Digital ProducerPEOPLE is looking for a remote digital producer to support our Evergreen team. This position will involve building articles in our CMS and doing photo research for search-driven content for PEOPLE across our various verticals, from entertainment, royals and lifestyle content to crime, human interest and political stories. This role will also involve pitching and writing timely evergreen content. We’re looking for a candidate who can commit to 40 hours per week for this remote contract position.The ideal candidate is a strong aspiring writer with a keen visual eye and an interest in pop culture and celebrity news. A beginner’s knowledge of SEO best practices and experience working in a CMS is a plus.

Assignment Details: 40 hours a weekStart date: 5/18/2026End date: 1 month with potential to extendHourly Rate: $22-24Location: Remote - USAssignment Responsibilities:

• Build all new content in the CMS, checking links and making minor grammar and spelling edits
• Source photos for all new articles following our image best practices, collaborating with editors on feedback
• Adhere to and implement our linking best practices and style guide
• Work with photo editor to ensure all photos are properly sourced and formatted in articles
• Pitch and write timely evergreen articles
• Make occasional updates to existing evergreen content

Skills/Experience:

• Familiarity with content management systems and web publishing tools
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to formulate actionable strategies
• A strong eye for detail and great attention to accuracy
• A passion for celebrity and pop culture news
• A beginner's knowledge of SEO and an interest in learning more
