The Role
Our Client is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Associate to support their strategic growth across the United States. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing high-value client relationships, and contributing directly to revenue expansion. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who is passionate about helping organizations achieve compliance and cybersecurity excellence. This individual will serve as a key brand ambassador, conducting deep market research and delivering impactful presentations to prospective partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Market Expansion
Identifies, researches, and generates new business opportunities through disciplined outbound calls, emails, and professional networking.
Conducts thorough market research to identify trends, track competitor activity, and pinpoint emerging industry developments.
Participates in (and coordinates for) trade shows, virtual conferences, and industry events to expand the company’s footprint.
Client Relationship Management
Develops and maintains strong, long-term relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
Acts as a consultant to understand specific client needs and proposes the most appropriate certification, assessment, and training services.
Effectively communicates the company’s value proposition to promote diverse service lines, including GRC and Cybersecurity frameworks.
Strategy & Presentation
Prepares and delivers engaging, high-impact presentations to stakeholders and potential clients.
Collaborates closely with internal teams to align sales activities with broader department targets and strategy development.
Provides data-driven recommendations to leadership based on analyzed market trends and prospect feedback.
Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies
Required Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), Cybersecurity, auditing, or professional services industries is highly preferred.
Skills: Expert proficiency in Lead Generation and Market Research with a proven ability to attract new business.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills; highly persuasive with strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
Education: Academic qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Mindset: A results-oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Technical Acumen: Ability to analyze complex market data and translate it into actionable sales recommendations.
