About Us

The Red Lily Health Board Aboriginal Corporation (RLHB) is a regional health service that empowers Aboriginal people in the West Arnhem region. Our long-term vision is to improve health outcomes by establishing a regional Aboriginal community-controlled model of service delivery.

About the Team

You’ll play a key role within the Primary Health Care team, providing comprehensive care to more than 1,000 people in the West Arnhem region (including homelands). Collaboration across our multidisciplinary teams ensures communities receive high-quality services and optimal outcomes.

About the Communities

Gunbalanya (Oenpelli)

  • Located 300km east of Darwin, 60km from Jabiru, across the scenic East Alligator River
  • Services include: P-12 school, supermarket, aged care, police, sports/social club, crèche, arts centre, and swimming pool
  • Road access (dry season from May to November) and air charter year-round

Jabiru

  • 255km east of Darwin, nestled in Kakadu National Park
  • Enjoy fishing, swimming, golf, basketball, and tennis in a welcoming community lifestyle
  • Home to a brand-new modern health centre opened in September 2024

Our Ideal Candidate

  1. Specialist GP registration with AHPRA
  2. Fellow of RACGP or ACRRM
  3. Australian citizen or permanent resident
  4. Broad primary care experience in rural/remote settings, ideally in Indigenous health
  5. Cultural awareness and understanding of issues impacting remote Indigenous communities
  6. GP supervisor accreditation or experience desirable

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
