Salary Range:
R35,000 R55,000/month (based on experience and technical capability)

About the Client:

Our client is a prestigious UK-based residential design studio known for luxury interior architecture, bespoke joinery, and world-class residential detailing. With a busy project pipeline across the UK and abroad, the team is expanding its technical design support by onboarding skilled South African Architectural Technicians who can deliver premium-quality technical drawing packages remotely.

The Role:

Were looking for detail-focused, technically confident Architectural Technicians who have hands-on experience delivering high-end residential drawing packages for construction and joinery production. You'll work closely with the UK team on a variety of bespoke residential interiors and architectural projects, helping produce clear, accurate, and regulation-compliant drawing sets.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare comprehensive technical drawing packages including:

• Ceiling details
• Elevations
• Floor and wall finishes schedules
• Joinery drawings including sections through all components
• Translate concept and design intent into precise construction documentation.
• Maintain high attention to detail across all drawing outputs.
• Work collaboratively within a remote setup while aligning to UK time zone schedules.
• Use AutoCAD to develop drawings to the studios standards and detail level.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in residential architecture or interior technical detailing.
• Strong AutoCAD skills (Revit not required).
• A portfolio showcasing technical drawings for residential interiors, joinery, and architectural detailing
• Experience working from concepts and sketches to develop full construction-ready documentation.
• Familiarity with UK residential standards and interior detailing expectations (preferred).
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work remotely with a reliable internet connection.

Remuneration:

• Monthly Salary (ZAR): R35,000 R55,000, depending on experience and drawing proficiency.
• Permanent Role. Or Fixed Term Contract renewable.
