As the Remote Account Manager, you will support the Field Account Management Team to sell Agilent Technologies products, solutions and services through outbound and inbound sales activities.

This will include Chromatography (LC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS), Spectroscopy (Atomic and Molecular) instrumentation, as well as Lab informatics and Cell Analysis solutions such as microplate readers, washers and imaging systems.

In this position, your daily tasks will include:

  • Identify and develop sales opportunities with both new customers (business development) and existing customers (up-sell/cross-sell).
  • Drive tech refresh campaigns in collaboration with the field Account Management Team.
  • Support and coordinate the full sales cycle, from pre-sales through to delivery, installation, and setup.
  • Manage complex and technical discussions with customers while liaising daily with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with designated Field Account Managers, handling transactional business for their accounts, including quoting, order entry, and related administration.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and resolve them in coordination with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Laboratory Technician Certificate or university degree in a science field (e.g. chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar).
  • Relevant hands-on experience with analytical techniques like Chromatography (LC, GC), MS, Spectroscopy, or Cell Analysis and a solid understanding of customer workflows and applications in a similar role or as an end user.
  • Commercial or retail experience is advantageous.
  • Strong desire to learn and continuously develop both technical and soft skills, with a focused, self-motivated approach to work.
  • Proactive, logical problem-solver with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer experience; proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German are essential, and English fluent.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
