Skilled Remodeler | Independent Contractor | $40 to $60 per Hour plus bonuses

Handyman Connection of Bozeman is a locally owned home repair and remodeling company serving homeowners across the Gallatin Valley. We bring in the work, handle the scheduling, order the materials, and invoice the customer. You bring the craftsmanship.

Job Summary:

• Share your expertise of home repair, maintenance and remodeling on job sites.
• Bid work on a regular basis and produce it effortlessly.
• Finalize appropriate job materials and quantities for all projects.
• Evaluate requests, price out all jobs, troubleshoot and effectively communicate with clients.

Job Requirements: Paid experience in at least three (3) of the below skillsets:

1. Home remodels, including bathroom and kitchen
2. Painting, both inside and out
3. General carpentry
4. Drywall work
5. Basic plumbing and electrical
6. Deck repair and installations
7. Window repair and installation
8. Floor installations and repairs
9. Residential maintenance

Requirements

• At least five years of professional experience in finish carpentry, remodeling, or a combination of both.
• Owns and maintains the tools needed to complete finish carpentry and remodeling projects.
• Has a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting tools and job materials.
• Holds, or is willing to obtain before beginning work, a Montana Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate.
• Maintains the insurance coverage required for independent contractors and can provide proof of coverage.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Communicates professionally with customers and the team, both in person and by phone or message.
