As a Remediation Mechanical Field Technician, your primary responsibilities will include the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of process equipment used in soil and groundwater remediation projects. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting soil vapor extraction (SVE) and groundwater liquid extraction (GWLE) systems, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with environmental safety standards. This role requires hands-on work in the field, including data collection, periodic sampling, and active maintenance of treatment systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing service and field reports and working closely with the project team and clients to ensure the success of remediation projects. Qualifications and Skills:
$28 - $34 per hour depending on experience
Respiratory Protection will be required to be worn if specified by a site-specific Health and Safety Plan, or when air monitoring indicates potential for exposure levels to reach an established action, level, threshold limit value (TLV), or permissible exposure limit (PEL). To comply with health and safety standards to protect against workplace hazards, employees may be required to shave or maintain facial hair in a manner that ensures a proper seal for respirator use.
