Union Facility – Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union (RWDSU)
Responsible operating start/stop on a variety of interconnected conveyors and equipment. Sort relish stock for foreign materials. Monitor operation of destoner. Monitors process on a continual basis and conducts assessments to ensure batches meet quality standards. This is an ideal job for somebody looking for long term career with a stable, reputable company.
Inspect relish stock for a variety of foreign materials.
Operate conveyors, destoner, dipper and other equipment.
Keep work area clean and orderly.
Keep any necessary records
Assist assembling the main section of the kitchen.
Monitor process on a continuous basis, notify supervisors of any abnormal developments immediately.
Must learn the safe and proper operation of the packaging filling equipment.
Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line Technician.
Performing Good Sanitation Practices (GSP’s) when handling equipment.
Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduled.
Operators could be used on other lines and CMF operations for business needs.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.
Personal Protective Equipment: The employee is regularly required to wear company authorized safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, rubber boots, chemical protection and other personal protective equipment to successfully perform the functions of this job safely.
Upon hire will train to become Lock Out Tag Out certified and maintain qualification
Must successfully pass on the job training and maintain operator qualification.
Must successfully pass on the job forklift training and maintain forklift qualification
