Are you a creative cook with a flair for healthy food, who also loves working directly with children? We are seeking a multi-talented individual to join our friendly team at Kindercare Aotea in a flexible, casual reliever role.
This unique position allows you to step in as our Reliever Cook to prepare nutritious vegetarian meals, while also having the availability to work as a Reliever Teacher alongside our teaching team when needed. As our Reliever Cook, you will be:
Competent in preparing, cooking, and serving healthy vegetarian meals that children love, following our recipes.
Able to safely meet the specific dietary and allergy requirements of children.
Committed to the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and policies.
Willing to take care of some light cleaning and laundry tasks as required.
Flexibility to travel and work across any of our Wellington centres.
As our Reliever Teacher, you will bring:
A warm, caring nature to cherish and support the children in our care.
Flexibility and enthusiasm when working with different age groups.
A collaborative spirit to work alongside our qualified Teachers.
A cheerful multi-tasker with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Flexibility to work up to 8 hours a day when needed, often at short notice or during school holidays.
Good written and spoken English communication skills.
NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
Willingness to undergo police vetting.
