The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Relief Teacher to join our fantastic team.

About the role

• Stand in for the teaching specific subjects except those taught by Senior school specialists teachers according to school policies and schemes of work.
• Mark work appropriately and as immediately as possible in accordance with the marking policy, giving individual feedback and encouragement whenever possible.
• Duties such as lunch with the children and monitor lunchtime behaviour
• Liaise closely with the Deputy Head- Academic/ Pastoral and other staff members regarding any children for concern.

What you will be doing

• Ensure monitoring, recording, assessment and reporting are undertaken in accordance with the school policies.
• Ensure that the classroom provides a stimulating and interesting learning environment.
• Ensure all paperwork is up-to-date and accurate (registers, etc.)
• Be responsible for the behaviour and discipline of children in the class in accordance with the school's bevaiour policy
• Be responsible for care, security, and maintenance of resources and equipment in own classroom and throughout the school
• Be a good role model in respect of speech, dress, behavious and care of equipment
  

Who we are looking for:

• You should be comfortable to receive calls in the morning when required.
• Minimal 3 years of experience in cover/relief teaching in independent school environment for children age 18 months years to 12 years old.
• Possesses relevant Teaching Certification recognised in International Teaching Climate (i.e. QTS, PGCE / i-PGCE), and a subject specialisation across key stages.
• Highly adept and adaptable individual with pro-active attitude and a passion for teaching children across a wide age range.
