We’re Hiring: Relief Screening Officer!

📍 Locations: E14 2AX, NW10 6PW, NW2 7AN, NW10 6SN,AL7 1QA & RH10 9BD - ( Must be in a 5 mile radius and will be required to cover all sites)
💰 Pay: £19.17 per hour
📅 Hours: 24 hours per week

Mandatory screening training must be successfully completed upon start, failure to do so could result in withdrawal of contract offer.

Join our team as a Relief Screening Officer and help maintain the safety and security of people and property at a critical client site. In this role, you’ll be responsible for observing and reporting activities, conducting security checks, and ensuring compliance with screening procedures using wands and metal detectors. Your work will play a key part in creating a secure environment and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Adhere to and apply the Screening Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Require datacentre personnel to utilise metal detection and/or wand for secure area access
• Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoints
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel
• Perform hand-held wand searches and walk-through metal detection searches
• Follow safe work practices and be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety
• Notify superiors of any unsafe working conditions
• Carry out all functions, duties, or tasks in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, following applicable company policies and procedures
• Seek clarification from superiors or authorised company representatives when uncertain

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• Must have a valid driving licence
• Reliable, flexible and ability to cover last minute
• Willing to travel and cover all of London
• Be able to work on their own occasionally for long periods of time
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
