Relief Care Home Kitchen Manager / Head Chef – Leeds

Top rates of pay – up to £50,000 PA equivalent

Dish Hospitality is working with a growing number of care-home clients across Leeds and Yorkshire, looking for experienced Relief Kitchen Managers and Head Chefs to provide cover for holidays, sickness, vacancies and short-term staffing requirements.

Alongside our care-home work, we also have a wide range of relief and temporary chef opportunities across Leeds, Yorkshire and nationwide, from one-day assignments through to longer-term contracts.

Whether you're looking for occasional relief work, regular temporary shifts or a longer-term placement, we can tailor the work around your availability and experience.

Care Home Kitchen Manager / Head Chef

For our care-home assignments, we're looking for experienced senior chefs who have previously worked in a care-home kitchen environment, ideally at Head Chef or Kitchen Manager level.

Essential for care-home assignments:

• Previous experience as a Care Home Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
• A valid DBS suitable for care-home work
• Experience managing a kitchen and junior team
• Strong knowledge of food safety, allergens, nutrition and HACCP
• Reliable and professional approach
• Experience covering senior chef holidays, sickness and vacancies
• Able to lead, support and develop junior kitchen staff
• Calm, positive management style – we're looking for chefs who lead by example
• Strong work ethic and excellent standards
• Leeds-based or able to commute reliably

Wider Relief & Temporary Chef Work

We also recruit relief chefs across Leeds, York, Yorkshire and nationwide, covering hotels, restaurants, pubs, events, contract catering and other hospitality environments.

We have opportunities available at Sous Chef level and above, with assignments ranging from a single shift to several weeks or months.
