What you’ll do – The opportunity

Position:

Relief - Direct Delivery

Location:

Guelph, Ontario

Level:

Individual Contributor

Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, the Direct Delivery Driver is a seasonal, full-time position available now until the beginning of September. Schedule is 4, 10-hour shifts Tuesday-Friday. Hourly rate: $19.83. $500 seasonal retention bonus available upon contract completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver beer (kegs and packaged) to and pickup empties from licensee accounts
• Pickup payment and reconcile truck inventory
• Troubleshoot service issues and inform necessary staff
• Fill out necessary reports and documentation as required, in accordance with company procedures and government regulations
• Maintain a clean safe vehicle and report any vehicle deficiencies to supervisors and fleet staff
• Load and unload delivery trucks as required
• Adhere to the food safety required as per job duties and report non-conformities
• Other warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 21 years
• 3 years driving experience with a valid G class driver's license and a clean driver abstract
• Clean criminal check record
• Customer service / Delivery experience an asset
• Dedication to customer service
• Able to perform repetitive heavy lifting including 58L kegs (160lbs)
• May assist in Warehouse including forklift operation
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of beer dispensing systems an asset
• May require shift work or overnight runs
