This position reports to:

Quality & Reliability Assurance Manager

In this role, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of ABB's Drives and Controls and Power Conversion products. Acting as a link between the Drives Reliability Center (DRC), Quality Assurance, and engineering teams, you will help coordinate failure analysis activities, ensure findings are translated into improvements, and support consistent ways of working across the reliability process.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong electronics background who enjoys combining technical analysis with cross-functional collaboration. As our reliability function continues to evolve, you'll have the chance to contribute not only to product reliability but also to the development of new processes, methods, and best practices.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Coordinating failure analysis activities between the Drives Reliability Center, Quality Assurance, and other key stakeholders.
• Reviewing and validating analysis results, ensuring conclusions are accurate, well documented, and actionable.
• Managing testing results and analysis data, helping maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
• Communicating findings, improvement actions, and lessons learned to relevant teams.
• Following up on corrective actions and supporting timely implementation of effective solutions.
• Contributing to the development of test specifications, reliability practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting alignment of testing, analysis, and reporting processes across teams.
• Taking ownership of reliability processes, analyses, and improvement activities within area of responsibility, driving them through to resolution.

Qualifications for the role:

• Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• Have a strong understanding of electronics and an interest in product quality and reliability.
• Enjoy investigating technical issues, coordinating stakeholders, and driving problems through to resolution.
• Are comfortable working with data, analysis tools, and technical documentation.
• Bring experience from reliability engineering, testing, quality assurance, failure analysis, or a similar field. Experience in reliability engineering is an advantage, but a willingness to learn is equally important.
• Communicate confidently in English, both spoken and written
