If you are a Sales Leader - Asset Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. Based in Seregno, Italy, you will lead the commercial growth and strategic direction of Emerson's Plant Asset Management portfolio across Northern Italy. In this role, you will help customers improve operational performance, reliability, and efficiency through innovative asset management solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers to drive sustainable business growth. This position offers an excellent opportunity to shape market strategy, develop new business opportunities, and contribute to the success of Emerson's Reliability Solutions portfolio.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead the commercial strategy and market development activities for Plant Asset Management solutions, including Field Communicator, AMS Device Manager, and AMS Optics.
  • Drive business growth by identifying, developing, and converting new opportunities within existing and new customer accounts.
  • Partner with sales teams to support project pursuits, customer engagements, and successful order closure in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers, channel partners, and key stakeholders to drive long-term success.
  • Develop and expand alternative distribution channels to increase market reach and customer access.
  • Deliver presentations, workshops, webinars, and customer events that showcase Emerson's value proposition and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to align business objectives, share best practices, and support innovation initiatives.
  • Contribute to portfolio growth by identifying opportunities to enhance customer outcomes through digitalization, reliability, and asset performance solutions.
  • Ensure a customer-focused approach that supports sustainable business development and operational excellence.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Studies, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and professional experience.
  • Experience developing and executing solution-based sales strategies within industrial, automation, reliability, or related technology environments.
  • Ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into value-driven business solutions.
  • Interest in technology, innovation, and digital solutions with the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional proficiency in both Italian and English.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the region and internationally, up to approximately 50% of working time.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience with Plant Asset Management, Reliability Solutions, Asset Performance Management, or related industrial technologies.
  • Familiarity with process automation systems and instrumentation applications.
  • Experience working within a matrixed, global organization.
  • Knowledge of digital transformation, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, or industrial software solutions.
  • Experience supporting channel partners, distributors, or indirect sales models.
  • Ability to influence diverse stakeholders and lead initiatives across multiple teams.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The total compensation salary range for this role is 58.100 to 83.000 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
