Along with factory floor support, you will own the site's storeroom responsibilities, managing critical spare parts, inventory, and materials support. This position will also play a key supporting role in the implementation of Progressive Maintenance (PM) programs, collaborating closely with the broader team to roll out these initiatives. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proactive technical professional with basic leadership capabilities to help champion a strong reliability culture on the shop floor.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Technical Background: 1–3 years of experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment, specifically within a technical or maintenance department.
  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but an equivalent level of hands-on Reliability experience and proven leadership capabilities is highly valued and essential.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong Office & Systems Literacy: Highly proficient in navigating complex software. You must have the ability to work independently with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), presentation software, purchasing systems, and other enterprise tools.
  • Basic Leadership & Initiative: A proven self-starter with basic experience (4–6 months) coordinating, organizing, or leading the work of others.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with operators, technical teams, and contractors.

What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?

  • Breakdown Resolution: Ensure the rapid and effective completion of all equipment breakdown repairs, proactively escalating unresolved technical deviations.
  • Drive Reliability: Continuously improve equipment reliability, quality, and overall performance through the structured deployment of Progressive Maintenance programs.
  • Culture & Coaching: Coach peers and operations team members to elevate their technical capabilities, actively championing a proactive Reliability Culture.
  • Defect Elimination: Lead thorough root-cause investigations to eliminate recurring equipment defects and escalate issues when engineering support is required.
