Job Description

SCRG is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to support a leading global technology client at its manufacturing site in Noida.This role will focus on product and design reliability, failure analysis, statistical reliability methods, and collaboration with global engineering and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with practical manufacturing experience and the ability to communicate complex reliability issues clearly.

What You Will Do

  • Apply Design for Reliability (DfR) techniques including FTA and DFMEA.
  • Perform reliability modeling using methods such as Reliability Block Diagrams, Weibull analysis, and Reliability Growth Models.
  • Support reliability qualification, validation, and failure analysis activities.
  • Analyze electrical, mechanical, and optical component failures and identify root causes.
  • Apply statistical techniques including B10 calculations and Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Work closely with engineering teams, factories, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
  • Analyze reliability data and support hardware testing using tools such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar platforms.
  • Summarize technical findings, risks, and corrective actions for engineering leadership and key stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering or quality engineering.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, including B10 calculation and DOE.
  • Experience applying Design for Reliability techniques including FTA and DFMEA.
  • Experience with reliability modeling techniques such as Reliability Block Diagram, Weibull analysis, and Reliability Growth Models.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science.
  • ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer or similar training in Reliability Engineering.
  • Experience with failure analysis techniques for electrical, mechanical, or optical components.
  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or other programming languages for data analysis and hardware tests.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to summarize and communicate issues to executives.
  • Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners and manufacturing processes, and ability to travel up to 30% of the time as needed.
