As a Reliability Engineer specialized in mechanical seals and sealing systems, focusing on improving equipment performance, reducing failures, and optimizing lifecycle costs. Works on-site at a customer facility(s), directly coordinates, schedules and participates in work with the customer to comply with the “partnership agreement.” Troubleshoots by investigating problems related to product performance and application specific criteria. Makes complex and independent seal and equipment evaluations, selections and recommendations.
Travel as required to perform duties and work directly with customers.
•Observes and reports field performance results; collects and evaluates data customers, while working with local John Crane office and sales representative.
•Provides feedback between the company and customer to ensure a positive, effective relationship.
•Recommends new standards and procedures on design and manufacture of seal components.
•Recent college graduate to career level professional
