About The Role
Reliability Engineers are responsible for improving the reliability, availability, observability, and operational resilience of Griffith’s enterprise platforms and services. Working within the Platform Engineering team, they apply software engineering and automation practices to operational challenges, reducing manual effort and improving the stability and scalability of critical university systems.
The role combines operational engineering, automation, observability, and enterprise platform support across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. Reliability Engineers work closely with Platform Engineers, product teams, application support teams, vendors, and project teams to ensure enterprise systems remain resilient, performant, secure, and maintainable throughout their lifecycle.
Reliability Engineers actively contribute to the continual improvement of operational practices, platform engineering standards, automation capabilities, observability tooling, and reliability engineering methods across the Digital Solutions portfolio.

This is a continuing opportunity based at Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
HEW 7 Salary – Base range - $104,504.60 - $113,219.43 + 17% super. Full package range - $122,270.38 - $132,466.72.
