This role’s work schedule is Monday through Friday, and is during standard business hours.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience as Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Reliability Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer (BSME) would be ideal.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Experience
  • Industrial Maintenance experience with installation and repair of equipment
  • Experience managing projects (Project Management) -- management of programs is important, and this person needs to be strong in data analysis and in MS Excel
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical components-
  • Vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and oil analysis knowledge and experience is ideal
  • Knowledge of nondestructive testing / inspection procedures
  • Strong recordkeeping and documentation practices
  • Computer skills using database programs, spreadsheets and word processing
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with people for problem solving, coaching, and work planning
  • Willingness to learn through personal experience
  • Attention to detail and belief in continuous improvement

In this role, you would:

  • Leads reliability and critical risk improvement projects in support of Area Maintenance Leads, including shutdown and down day planning.
  • Develops and maintains risk priority lists to focus resources on highest-value reliability opportunities.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining equipment history profiles for high-risk items in track, trend and forecast service life, operating costs, design changes and major event details.
  • Develops and maintains rebuild documentation standards to ensure consistent repair quality and expectations.
  • Owns plant-wide condition monitoring programs, including vibration analysis, lubrication, oil analysis, laser alignment, thermography, and NDT.
  • Manages recordkeeping, follow-up actions, and reporting from plant-wide NDT and condition monitoring inspections.
  • Reviews PM backlogs within scope (vibration, lubrication, thermography), identifies deficiencies, and collaborates with planners and area leads to optimize PMs.
  • Champions proactive, predictive, and PM maintenance best practices through standardization, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Provides coaching, technical support, training, and indirect leadership for reliability technicians, supporting maintenance skill development.
  • Supports equipment selection, budgeting, and cost management while maintaining industry contacts to stay current on equipment design and condition monitoring practices. Supports area maintenance leads by leading improvement projects that have been identified as reliability priorities.
  • Provides support, coaching, performance feedback and resource support for the Vibration (Maintenance Reliability) Technician and Lubrication Technician in the execution of their responsibilities and duties. This Engineer will indirectly lead Vibration Techs and Lubrication Techs.
  • Participates in Down day/Shutdown work planning by providing priority updates, procedure details and scheduling considerations for work-related to reliability improvements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to inspect and maintain equipment.
  • Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects.
  • Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures.

Market Growth, Economic Stimulus
