Release Train Product Manager (RTP) – Enterprise Imaging (Image Area)

About the Role

As our Release Train Product Manager (RTP), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the product and development strategy for our Enterprise Imaging Image Area—covering both our advanced Diagnostic Desktop and our zero‑footprint Xero Workflow solutions.

You will be a key member of the Agile Release Train (ART) leadership team, aligning product strategy with execution, driving product innovation, and ensuring continuous delivery of business value. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, market insight, and the ability to inspire cross‑functional teams.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead the ART & Drive Strategic Alignment

  • Inspire and energize the ART to deliver on business and customer goals.
  • Translate portfolio strategy into a clear product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Ensure decisions balance customer value, technical feasibility, and long‑term sustainability.

2. Shape Product Strategy, Vision & Roadmaps

  • Define and communicate a compelling vision for your domain.
  • Develop flexible, outcome‑driven roadmaps aligned with customer needs and market evolution.
  • Ensure alignment with strategic themes and budget guardrails.

3. Deeply Understand Customers & Markets

  • Continuously explore customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Combine qualitative feedback, usage analytics, and market research to guide product direction.
  • Champion a customer‑centric culture across the product life cycle.

4. Own the ART Backlog

  • Manage and prioritize the ART backlog to maximize business value.
  • Lead the creation of features with clear hypotheses, acceptance criteria, and PI readiness.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Owners, and System Architects.

5. Collaborate Closely with Agile Teams

  • Provide context, insights, and clarity to Agile Teams and Product Owners.
  • Support PI Planning and enable effective, decentralized decision‑making.
  • Foster open communication and high‑quality product execution.

6. Ensure Delivery & Real Value Realization

  • Deliver whole‑product solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Coordinate across multiple ARTs when working on integrated solutions.
  • Take ownership for delivering on PI commitments and full product releases.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in clinical, IT, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Healthcare IT Imaging.
  • Background in product management, product strategy, or leadership roles in complex multi‑team environments.

Competencies & Skills

  • Strong market understanding and ability to drive data‑based decisions.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across levels and departments.
  • Experience working with complex software products and platform ecosystems.
  • Ability to lead through customer focus, structured thinking, and business insights.

Certifications

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA compliance.
