The opportunity

IVRS (Integration, Verification, Release and Support) is a department within GI MACH, working with securing the quality of the MACH platform, the brain of the HVDC station. We are responsible for verification of the MACH Platform towards high level requirements and for releasing the platform to our customers. We are also responsible for making sure that our customers, mostly internal, get the support they need.

We are looking for a Release Program Leader to plan our releases and coordinate the work with releasing our MACH platform. As the Release Program Leader you will play an important role within GI MACH, communicating with our design organizations, our project managers and our internal customers to make sure we release the right 'thing' at the right time.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Responsible for leading the release program within IVRS, i.e. leading the execution of the activities within the release program scope.
  • Time planning and staffing should be done in coordination with other departments within MACH, as well as other program leaders and managers within IVRS.
  • Release program leader is overall responsible for keeping an updated view on the status/plan of the MACH external releases of SW/HW/FPGA (Release Plan)
  • Responsible for driving the release work, ensuring all work is ready in time for the release of SW/HW/FPGA and preparing the decision material for MACH Release Board.
  • Responsible for coordinating and leading Hypercare plans for new SW releases
  • Identify cross-project risks and mitigation strategies, adjust plans based on evolving priorities.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts and remove delivery roadblocks.

Your Background

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Proven leadership experience or experience from project management
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across global teams
  • Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage but not required
