Job Description

Schedule: Primarily Mon–Fri; occasional nights/weekends

Location: Remote

Type: Long‑term contract with possible extension or hire

Role Overview

Responsible for managing engineering and implementation tasks across network programs, ensuring end‑to‑end delivery, change readiness, and compliance. Acts as the central coordinator between engineering teams, project/program managers, vendors, and stakeholders. Requires strong communication, ownership, and the ability to operate in fast‑paced, global environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into technical engineering/implementation tasks.
  • Manage engineering resources (FTE/contract/vendor) and oversee delivery quality.
  • Provide proactive status updates, escalate issues, and resolve conflicts across workflows.
  • Own STI/Release & Deployment tasks from planning through Day‑One production support.
  • Build and maintain release calendars, impact/risk trackers, and dependency maps.
  • Ensure all engineering documentation and change records (CRQs) are complete and accurate.
  • Review change requests for clarity, risk, impact, and post‑implementation requirements.
  • Participate in CAB, release readiness reviews, and post‑implementation analysis.
  • Maintain full compliance with firm‑wide Change Management policies.
  • Support incident/problem analysis related to changes.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s in engineering, CS, business, finance, or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience:

  • 8+ years in technical roles supporting network projects/programs.
  • Strong background in IT service delivery.
  • Experience with Change Management and CAB processes.
  • PMP, ITIL preferred; CCNA a plus.
  • Financial services experience beneficial.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage shifting deadlines, and produce meaningful operational data.
