Now, we’re looking for a Release Manager who thrives in complexity, someone who doesn’t just coordinate releases, but owns the integrity of what goes into production.
What’s the job?
The Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, governing, and executing software, platform, and infrastructure releases across Torrens’ technology landscape. The role ensures that all changes introducing new or modified functionality are delivered in a controlled, predictable, and low risk manner, aligned with business priorities, operational readiness, and compliance requirements.
Working closely with Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, Applications, Service Management, Security, and Business stakeholders, the Release Manager owns the end-to-end release lifecycle, from intake and scheduling through deployment, validation, and post-release review.
Principle accountabilities (but not limited to):
You’ll focus on bringing structure and visibility to how releases are planned and executed, including:
Managing the end-to-end release schedule across multiple systems and environments
Coordinating release activities across different delivery teams and streams
Ensuring releases are aligned with business priorities, dependencies and change windows
Supporting release governance, including readiness checks, documentation and approvals
Working with technical teams to coordinate deployments across environments
Acting as a key point of contact for release communications and updates
Identifying risks and supporting continuous improvement of release processes
About you:
You bring a solid foundation in release, delivery or DevOps-aligned roles, with experience working across complex environments.
You’ll likely have:
5+ years’ experience in IT delivery, release management or similar roles
Experience coordinating releases across multiple teams and environments
Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, environments and deployment practices
Strong planning, coordination and communication skills
A practical understanding of risk, dependencies and release readiness
A technical background or the ability to engage confidently with engineering and infrastructure teams will be highly valued.
